Swap Meets
Twice a year R/C Country Hobbies hosts a large parking lot Swap Meet usually held on a Saturday in late April and late September. During the Swap Meet the parking lot is available for hobbyists (NON-COMMERCIAL) to set up a table and sell their goods. There is no charge for selling and spaces are available on a first come basis, so arrive EARLY. R/C Country sets up its discount tables at 6:30am and coffee and donuts are available then as well. On Swap Meet days the store opens at 8:00am.
About us
R/C Country Hobbies opened its doors in September of 1988 in a 2600 square foot building on Power Inn Rd. that was 1000 square foot retail space and 1600 square foot warehouse. After 8 years in that location it had run out of space. In July of 1996 it moved to the present location on Folsom Blvd. with a square footage of 8000. In 2002 more space became available and the Aircraft department moved into the adjoining 4000 square foot space that it occupies today. The total store footage is 12,000 square feet of displayed radio control hobbies and toys.
